Over the years there has been many changes in photographic technology. Today digital is the norm and it has made 'picture taking' cheaper and more easier for all. People say all the time, 'fix it in photoshop' but as a professional photographer I believe in getting it right in the camera as much as possible.

This photo was taken of a client building. We researched the best time and location. We got the best photograph on the day  but we could not have all the lights on in the building as they were in other tenancies. The solution was definitely photoshop where I replaced the dark levels with parts of the other lit levels and finally I added the moon for a bit of drama. This is were the discipline of getting it right in the camera and then using photoshop to create a better and more dynamic photo for the client works in the modern era. Peter Budd
